Antitheft and Alarm Systems: Description and Operation

Description

Burglar Alarm system
The Burglar Alarm system is a theft protection feature which ;
Armed by
- Turning the mechanical key lock switch in driver side door.
- By RKE or Passive LOCK command.
- All door lock and then all door closed including trunk.
Triggers an Alarm when
- Any doors open.
- Hood open.
- Trunk open by unknown event.
- (Key In = ON) or (IGN1 IPM = ON) or (IGN2 IPM = ON) event only in China variant.
Disarmed by
- Turning the mechanical key unlock switch in driver side door.
- By RKE or Passive UNLOCK command.
Passive Access
- Passive lock or unlock is triggered by push button.

Operation

IPM Bugler alarm

DISARM
LED is Blinking if IGN KEY OUT = TRUE, otherwise LED OFF.
- Engine start inhibition is OFF
If ATWS state is changed to DISARM, IPM shall cancel 5sec lock confirmation timer.

NOTE:
When entered DISARM mode, Horn OFF.

CAUTION:
We can not disarm anti-theft by unlocking the door with mechanical key directly from the door lock if bi mecha lock unlock is not set

ARM
- LED is Blinking
- Engine start inhibition is OFF (For China)

ALARM

- Engine start inhibition is ON
- If ATWS state is changed to ALARM, IPM shall cancel 5sec. lock confirmation timer.

T1 : 27s (±2 sec), T2 : 10s (±2 sec), T3 : 0.5s ± 0.1sec
China

ARM WAIT mode
- LED is Blinking
- ARM WAIT timer is 8sec (For China)
- Engine start inhibition is OFF (For China)

AUTO-LOCK TIMER 1
- LED is Blinking
- Engine start inhibition is OFF
- If ATWS state is changed to AUTO - LOCK TIMER1, IPM shall cancel 5sec lock confirmation timer.
