Replacement
Trunk Lid Assembly Replacement
NOTE:
- When removing and installing the trunk lid, an assistant is necessary.
- Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the trunk lid latch cover (A).
2. Using a screwdriver, remove the trunk lid switch (A), and disconnect the connector.
3. Detach the clip, then remove the trunk lid cover A).
4. Remove the clips and screws, then remove the trunk lid trim (A).
5. Disconnect the wiring and connector.
6. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the trunk lid (A).
Tightening torque :
6.9 - 8.8 N.m (0.7 - 0.9 kgf.m, 5.1 - 6.5 lb-ft)
7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Trunk Lid Weatherstrip Replacement
1. Remove the glass cover.
2. Remove the side cover.
3. Remove the trunk lid weatherstrip (A).
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Trunk Lid Lift Replacement
1. Using a screwdriver lift up slightly the socket clip (A) of both ends on the lifer and then remove the lifter (B) from the bracket.
2. Push the socket of the lifter into the bracket for installation.
Key Hold Replacement
1. Remove the trunk lid trim.
2. Disconnect the cable (A).
3. After loosening the key holder mounting bolts, remove the key holder (B).
Tightening torque :
6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- Make sure the trunk locks and opens properly.
Trunk Lid Latch Replacement
1. Remove the trunk lid trim.
2. Disconnect the connector (A) and cable (B).
3. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the latch assembly (C).
Tightening torque :
6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
- Make sure the trunk locks and opens properly.
Trunk Lid Panel Replacement
1. Remove the trunk lid trim.
2. Loosen the mounting nut, remove the trunk lid panel (B).
3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- Replace any damaged clips.
Trunk Lid Adjustment
1. After loosening the trunk lid hinge (A) mounting bolt, adjust the trunk lid by moving it up or down, or right or left.
2. Adjust the trunk lid height by turning the trunk lid overslam bumpers (B).
3. After loosening the trunk lid latch (C) mounting bolts, adjust the trunk lid latch by moving it up or down, or right or left.
