Power Seat Switch: Testing and Inspection

Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the seat recliner cover (A).





3. Disconnect the power seat air lumber support switch connector (A).




4. With the power seat air lumber support switch in each position, make sure that continuity exists between the terminal below.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.




A. Inflate upper, Deflate middle/lower
B. Inflate middle, Deflate upper/lower
C. Inflate lower, Deflate upper/middle
D. Deflate all

Air Lumber Support
1. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the driver seat.

3. Remove the seat back cover.

4. Disconnect the air lumber triple valve unit connector.




5. With supplying the voltage to the air pump in each position, check that the air lumber support is operated properly.








A. Upper air pack
B. Middle air pack
C. Lower air pack
