Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds (A) after removing 3 screws.




2. Loosen the screws on top of multi function switch.




3. Remove the multi function switch assembly (A) after disconnecting the connector.






Installation

1. Install the multi function switch assembly after connecting the connectors.
2. Install the steering column upper and lower shrouds.

Inspection

1. Check IPM input/output specification of windshield wiper/washer switch using the GDS. If the specification is abnormal, replace the windshield wiper/washer switch module.
2. Select option "Input/output monitoring".
