INTRODUCTION
Infiniti has determined that on certain 2008 EX vehicles, when certain fuel blends are used, the fuel pump assembly may begin to emit a "buzzing" noise noticeable at the rear of the cabin. This noise does not affect vehicle performance. However, to prevent any potential increased cabin noise, Infiniti is conducting this Voluntary Service Campaign to inspect, and if needed, replace the fuel pump with a new one. This service will be performed at no charge for parts or labor.
IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Infiniti has assigned identification number P9202 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign.
DEALER RESPONSIBILITY
Dealers are to correct each vehicle falling within the range of this campaign that enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer's inventory.
