SELF-DIAGNOSIS

- The automatic drive positioner system Is capable of judging whether or not input signals sent from the driver's seat- and steering column-sensors are correct during self-diagnosis.
- When self-diagnosis starts, the driver's seat automatically slides back and forth, reclines, or raises. The steering column also tilts or moves in and out. if a particular sensor operates at values less than specifications during self-diagnosis, the system corresponding with the sensor will be determined as malfunctioning.
- If the car speed sensor judges that vehicle speed is below 7 km/h (4 MPH) [although the vehicle Is being driven at speeds greater than 7 km/h (4 MPH)] within 15 seconds after self-diagnosing the operation of the driver's seat and steering column, it will be detected as malfunctioning.
