Two methods can be used to test the speed control on the Q45. One method is to use the Nissan CONSULT tool, the other is to use a volt ohmmeter.

With CONSULT Tool

1. With ignition switch off, connect CONSULT tool to diagnostic connector.
2. Turn ignition switch On, then A.S.C.D. main switch.
3. Touch START, on CONSULT display.
4. Touch A.S.C.D., then SELF-DIAG RESULTS. For diagnostic results shown on display, refer to Fig. 41
5. Touch DATA MONITOR, then touch START.
6. For data results shown on display, refer to Fig. 42.

Less CONSULT Tool
