Fig. 2 Engine Mount Height Adjustment:
1. Relieve fuel system pressure, refer to MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE.
2. Remove engine undercover and hood.
3. Drain coolant and engine oil.
4. Disconnect or remove all hoses, linkages, electrical connectors and accessories necessary for engine removal.
5. Remove exhaust tubes, ball joints and driveshaft.
6. Remove radiator and fans.
7. Remove drive belts.
8. Remove alternator, compressor and power steering pump from engine.
9. Place a suitable transmission jack under transaxle, then hoist engine with suitable lifting device.
10. Remove center member.
11. Remove engine mounting bolts from both sides, then carefully lower engine and transmission on suitable jack.
12. Reverse procedure to install. When installing engine, adjust height for manual transaxle as shown, Fig. 2.
