Engine: Service and Repair
1. Relieve fuel system pressure, refer to MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE.2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove engine undercover and hood.
4. Drain engine oil and coolant.
5. Remove vacuum hoses, fuel tubes, wiring harness and all electrical connectors.
6. Remove exhaust tubes and propeller shaft.
7. Remove radiator and shroud.
8. Remove drive belts.
9. Remove alternator, A/C pump and power steering tube.
10. Remove steering lower joint.
11. Remove stabilizer, transverse link and tension rod with bracket.
12. Support engine with suitable lifting device, then place a suitable transmission jack under transmission.
13. Remove suspension member fixing bolts.
14. Remove engine mounting bolts from both sides, then carefully lower engine and transmission on suitable jack.
15. Reverse procedure to install.
