Q45 IDLE VIBRATION
APPLIED MODEL: 1990 - 1991 Q45 (G50)
SERVICE INFORMATION:
Some 1990 & 1991 Q45 vehicles may exhibit an idle vibration (rough idle) which can be felt through the steering wheel, seat, and floor.
The idle vibration is most apparent when the engine is warm, the transmission is in "Drive", and the brake pedal is depressed while stopped in traffic.
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
If a vehicle is confirmed to have this condition, the following countermeasure parts can be installed to reduce this vibration:

*Note: Use the new compressor ONLY if the vibration is confirmed to be worse with the A/C operating.
Reference TSB ITB90-028:
If necessary, the adjustment procedure provided in TSB ITB90-028 dated September 27, 1990 may be applied to further reduce the vibration.
