Ignition Rotor: Description and Operation

Distributor Rotor:

PURPOSE
To distribute spark to the proper terminal in the distributor cap.

OPERATION
The rotor makes the connection between the center terminal and the correct spark plug terminal of the distributor cap as it is turned by the camshaft.
