When a malfunction occurs, the fail-safe system activates to illuminate the active suspension warning lamp and to cut off the current to the fail-safe valve and/or regulate the pressure control valve operation. This gradually changes the oil pressure (applied to actuators for the four wheels) to a uniform pressure so the vehicle can continue to be driven safely.
