Do not allow engine coolant to contact timing belt during this procedure.
1. Drain coolant from both sides of cylinder block and radiator.
2. Remove timing belt covers a outlined under Timing Belt.
3. Remove water pump mounting bolts Fig. 67, then water pump.
4. Ensure all old sealer material has been removed from mounting surface, then mount water pump using a suitable sealer.
5. Reverse procedure to install, tighten fasteners to specifications.
