Driver/Vehicle Information Display: Description and Operation

Operation:

When the ignition key is turned to "ON", if there is no malfunction in the monitored items, the display indicates "OK" for 8 seconds. After that the twin tripmeter appears. The twin tripmeter ceases to appear if any warning signal is detected. Diagnostic information is shown instead. If more than one kind of warning is given, the messages appear in turn at intervals of 8 seconds.

While a warning message is being displayed, the twin tripmeter indication can be obtained for 8 seconds by pushing the trip reset switch momentarily.
