Illumination Control Switch Check:

Connect as shown in figure.

Illumination control switch is in good order when test lamps activate as indicated below:

^ When knob is turned counterclockwise or clockwise, test lamp-i darkens or brightens accordingly. Turning knob clockwise further turns on switch and illuminates test lamp-2.
