1. Touch NEXT so that ``2. REAR WHEEL HEIGHT ADJ.'' appears on CONSULT display.
2. Ensure engine is idling, gear selector is set to ``P,'' parking brake is off, foot brake of off and wheel is on a flat surface.
3. Touch START and wait until CONSULT is ready for rear wheel height adjustment.
4. Measure distance ``B'' between center of one rear wheel and lower end of fender molding. Fig. 51.
5. Measure other wheel and determine difference between wheels.
6. Compare measurements with following specifications:
a. Distance ``B'' is 13.82-14.61 inches.
b. Difference between both wheels is 0.39 inch or less.
7. If either distance is outside of specifications, loosen stopper nut on vehicle height sensor connecting rod and change rod length to adjust vehicle height.
8. Measure distance between stopper nuts seating surfaces. Fig. 52.
9. Turning connecting rod adjuster one complete rotation causes vehicle height to increase by 0.295 inch.
10. After adjusting connecting rod length, torque stopper nut to 2.2-2.9 ft. lbs.
11. Touch END on CONSULT display and stop engine.
