Illumination Description:
Power is supplied at all times
^ through 1O A fuse (No. (19) located in the fuse block)
^ to lighting switch terminal (11).
The lighting switch must be in the 1ST or 2ND position for illumination.
The illumination control switch is a thumbwheel that controls the amount of current to the illumination system. As the amount of current increases, the illumination becomes brighter.

The intensity of these lamps does not change.
The following chart shows the power and ground connector terminals for the components included in the illumination system.
With the exception of the glove box lamp and the ashtray illumination, the ground for all of the Components are controlled through terminals (2) and (3) of the illumination control switch and body grounds (M1) and (M60).
The glove box lamp terminal (2) and ashtray illumination terminal (2) are grounded directly through body grounds (M1) and (M60).
