Control Valve Assembly and Accumulators

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove drain plug from transaxle oil pan to drain fluid.
2. Remove oil pan and gasket.
3. Disconnect transaxle solenoid harness connector.
4. Remove stopper ring from solenoid harness terminal body, then the solenoid harness from transaxle case by pushing on terminal body.
5. Remove control valve assembly attaching bolts, then the control valve assembly.
6. Remove 3-R and N-D accumulators by applying compressed air, if necessary. Hold pistons with a rag when removing.
7. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Place manual shaft in Neutral, then align manual plate with groove in manual valve.
b. After installation of control valve assembly, ensure that selector lever can be moved to all positions.
