Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

ECCS Component Parts Location:

REMOVAL
- Disconnect harness terminal.
- Remove sensor with suitable socket or wrench.

INSTALLATION
- Apply a thin coating of anti-seize compound to the threads.

Oxygen Sensor:

NOTE: Do not contaminate sensing tip with compound.

- Install sensor and torque it to 30 - 37 lb.ft..
- Apply a thin coating of dielectric compound to the connector.
- Connect harness terminal.
