Torque Specifications
Part 1 of 2:
Intake Manifold Tightening/Loosening Sequence:
Tighten intake manifold bolts in sequence:
1. Tighten all bolts and nuts 5-10 Nm (3.6-7.2 ft.lb)
2. Tighten all bolts and nuts to 26-31 Nm (20-23 ft.lb)
3. Repeat step 2 five times to ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened to 26-31 Nm (20-23 ft.lb)
Part 2 Of 2:
Torque Sequence:
Tighten in numerical order shown, using the following procedure:
a. Tighten all bolts to 98 Nm (72 ft. lbs.).
b. Completely loosen all bolts.
c. Tighten all bolts to 34 to 44 Nm (25 to 33 ft. lbs.).
d. Turn all bolts 90 to 95 degrees clockwise.
e. Turn all bolts another 90 to 95 degrees clockwise.

Tightening all main bolts in the order shown to 32 to 38 Nm (24 to 28 ft. lbs.). Then, turn all bolts another 90 to 95 degrees clockwise with angle wrench.
Tightening all connecting rod nuts to 19-21Nm (14-15 ft.lb) then turn nuts an additional 90 to 95° with an angle wrench.
