Washer Operation

With the ignition switch in the ACC or ON position, power is supplied
^ through 20 A fuse [No. (5), located in the fuse block (J/B)]
^ to washer motor terminal (2).
When the lever is pulled to the WASH position, ground is supplied
^ to washer motor terminal (1), and
^ to time control unit (located in the fuse block [J/B]) terminal (82A)
^ from terminal (18) of the wiper switch
^ through terminal (17) of the wiper switch, and
^ through body grounds (E15) and (E37).
With power and ground supplied, the washer motor operates.
The wiper motor operates at low speed for approximately 3 seconds to clean windshield. This feature is controlled by the time control unit in the same manner as the intermittent operation.
