Infiniti is releasing a front heated oxygen sensor (exhaust gas sensor) wrench (J-38365-A) as an essential tool to each Infiniti retailer. The wrench is re-designed to accept a 3/8 in. drive to facilitate removal of the driver's side front heated oxygen sensor on the 1997 Q45 (see Figure 1). The driver's side exhaust manifold and/or engine do not have to be disturbed during replacement of the front heated oxygen sensor when using this new essential tool.

In addition, Infiniti is releasing an indicator switch socket (J42458) as an essential tool. The socket is used to remove and install indicator switches found on the 1997 QX4 ALL-Mode 4WD(TM) System (see Figure 2).

CONSULT All-Mode 4WD(TM) System Service Procedures

As part of the ongoing effort to support the use of CONSULT, we are distributing service procedures for the all- new QX4 All-Mode 4WD(TM) System. These procedures should be used in conjunction with CONSULT and the UE951 Programming Card. The procedures are being distributed at no charge to Infiniti retailers.
