Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Remove propeller shaft.
- Insert plug into rear oil seal after removing propeller shaft.
2. Remove drive shafts.
3. Remove the Traction Control System (TCS) sensor.
4. Remove nuts securing final drive rear cover to suspension member.
5. Support weight of final drive using jack.
6. Remove final drive mounting bolts from front of final drive.
7. Move final drive forward together with jack. Remove rear cover stud bolts from suspension member.
8. Pull off final drive backward together with jack.

CAUTION:
- Be careful not to damage spline, sleeve yoke and front oil seal, when removing propeller shaft.
- After removal, support suspension member on a stand to prevent its insulators from being twisted or damaged.





INSTALLATION
- Reverse the removal procedure to install, ensuring to fill final drive with recommended gear oil.
