12TH Judgement Flicker

DESCRIPTION
The ECM and Apr control unit provide mutual communication in relation to engine output control signal (ignition timing retard signal) during rapid standing starts/acceleration. With this consistent real- time control, the shifting feel is substantially improved.




Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) confirmation procedure
After the repair, perform the following procedure to confirm the malfunction is eliminated.




With Consult
(1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
(2) Select "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode for with CONSULT ECM
(3) Wait at least 6 seconds or start engine and wait for at least 6 seconds.

OR




With Generic Scan Tool
(1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
(2) Wait at least 6 seconds or start engine and wait for at least 6 seconds.
(3) Select "MODE 7" with GST.

OR




Without Scan Tools
(1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
(2) Wait at least 6 seconds or start engine and wait for at least 6 seconds.
(3) Perform self-diagnosis.
