Component Tests and General Diagnostics

ASCD Main Switch



Check continuity between terminals by pushing switch to each position

ASCD Brake Switch and Stop Lamp Switch



Check each switch after adjusting brake pedal.




Inhibitor Switch
Check continuity between terminals by setting selector level to each position.




Diode
^ Check continuity using an ohmmeter.
^ Diode is functioning properly if test results are as shown in the figure at left.
