Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures




Trouble Diagnosis






WORK FLOW

NOTE:
^ When Local Control Unit (LCU) connectors are disconnected for more than 1 minute such as during trouble diagnoses, the "disconnected" data will be memorized by the Body Control Module (BCM). Therefore, after reconnecting the LCU connectors, erase the memory.
^ To erase the memory, perform the procedure below.
Erase the memory with CONSULT or turn the ignition switch to "OFF" position and remove 7.5 A fuse (No. (14) located in the fuse and fusible link box).






Preliminary Check
The system operation is canceled by turning ignition switch to "ACC" at any step between START and ARMED in the following above flow chart.
After performing preliminary check, go to symptom chart.






Symptom Chart
Before starting trouble diagnoses above, perform preliminary check. Symptom numbers in the symptom chart correspond with those of preliminary check.
