Work Flow
NOTE:
^ When LCU (Local Control Unit) connectors are disconnected for more than 1 minute such as during trouble diagnoses, the "disconnected" data will be memorized by the BCM (Body Control Module). Therefore, after reconnecting the LCU connectors, erase the memory.
^ To erase the memory, perform the procedure below.
Erase the memory with CONSULT or turn the ignition switch to "OFF" position and remove 7.5 A fuse (No. (56), located in the fuse and fusible link box).
PRECAUTIONS FOR INFINITI COMMUNICATOR (IVCS)
The purpose of INFINITI Communicator is to increase security for the vehicle owner by providing a convenient way to contact the most appropriate emergency assistance provider during an emergency. Improper operation of the system may result in a police response.
The theft warning system also activates INFINITI Communicator. For details, see INFINITI Communicator (IVCS),
Preliminary Check
The system operation is canceled by turning ignition switch to "ACC" at any step between START and ARMED in the following above flow diagram.
After performing preliminary check, go to symptom chart.

Before starting trouble diagnoses, perform preliminary check. Symptom numbers in the symptom chart correspond with those of preliminary check.
