SERVICE INFORMATION

If an applied I30 has a MIL "ON" with rear oxygen sensor DTC P0137 (Minimum Voltage Monitoring) (Rear H02S) stored in the ECM, use the following service procedure to resolve the incident.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Refer to "Attachment A" (Rear Oxygen Sensor Overall Operation Test) or ASIST users click here for (Rear Oxygen Sensor Overall Operation Test) to verify the oxygen sensor is operating correctly.

A. If the oxygen sensor fails the operational test, this bulletin does not apply. Look for other causes for the oxygen sensor failure.

B. If the oxygen sensor passes the operational test, proceed with step 2.

2. Determine the ECM part number by the "CONSULT Freeze Frame Data" function or by the "CONSULT ECM Part Number" function.

A. If the ECM part number is not one of the part numbers listed in the "P/N in Vehicle" column of the "Parts Information" table, this bulletin does not apply.

B. If the ECM part number is one of the part numbers listed in the "P/N in Vehicle" column of the "Parts Information" table, proceed with step 3.





3. Replace the ECM (see Figure 1) with the part number listed in the "Replacement P/N" column of the "Parts Information" table or with its equivalent latest update.
