Component Tests and General Diagnostics

ASCD STEERING SWITCH
Check continuity between terminals by pushing each button.




ASCD BRAKE SWITCH AND STOP LAMP SWITCH
Check each switch after adjusting brake pedal - refer to "BRAKE PEDAL AND BRACKET".




PARK-NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
Check continuity between terminals by selling selector lever to each position.




DIODE
- Check continuity using an ohmmeter.
- Diode is functioning properly if test results are as shown in the figure.
