Removal and Installation

REMOVAL




1. Remove the front grille. Refer to "FRONT GRILLE" in "EXTERIOR and INTERIOR (EI)".
2. Remove the filler cap on the washer tank and the front air guide.
3. Remove the front undercover and the fender protector. Refer to "FENDER PROTECTOR" in "EXTERIOR and INTERIOR (EI)".
4. Remove mounting clip on top of the front bumper and mounting bolts on the side of the front bumper. Refer to "FRONT BUMPER" in "EXTERIOR and INTERIOR (EI)".




5. Pull the side of the front bumper toward the front of the vehicle and disengage it from clips on the body.
6. Remove the headlamp mounting bolts and clip.
7. Remove the headlamp mounting screws inside the headlamp.
8. Pull the headlamp toward the front of the vehicle, disconnect the connector, and remove from the vehicle.

CAUTION: When removing the headlamp, place a rag between the headlamp and the bumper to protect the bumper.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal, taking care of the following points.

Headlamp mounting bolt:
Tightening Torque : 4.4 - 6.5 N.m (0.45 - 0.66 kg-m, 39 - 57 in-lb)

Headlamp mounting screw:
Tightening Torque : 4.4 - 6.5 N.m (0.45 - 0.66 kg-m, 39 - 57 in-lb)

FRONT COMBINATION LAMP
Refer to "Removal and Installation" in "HEADLAMP (FOR USA)".
