1. CHECK INPUT SIGNAL
^ Check control unit input signal.
Refer to Powertrain Management; Computers and Control Systems.

Inspection results OK?
OK >> Replace control unit.
NG >> GO TO 2.

2. CHECK SPEEDOMETER
^ Does the speedometer operate properly?

Inspection results OK?
OK >> Repair or replace speed sensor or vehicle speed sensor-to-control unit harness.
NG >> Repair or replace speedometer circuit.
