Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove exhaust center tube.
2. Remove rear stabilizer bar.
3. Remove rear propeller shaft.
4. Remove rear drive shaft.
5. Remove air bleeding hose from the Final Drive.
6. Remove ABS wheel sensor
7. Place a transmission jack on the final drive.

NOTE: Do not place a transmission jack on the rear cover (aluminum case).

8. Remove the mounting bolts and nuts connecting to the suspension member, and remove the rear final drive.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: After installation, adjust the parking brake and check the final drive oil level.
