CONSULT-II Operation Procedure

CONSULT-II Function
Power door lock system check with data monitor, active test and work support can be performed by combining data reception and command transmission via communication line from BCM.

CONSULT-II INSPECTION PROCEDURE

CAUTION: If CONSULT-II is used with no connection of CONSULT-II CONVERTER, malfunction might be detected in self-diagnosis depending on control unit which carry out CAN communication.

1. With ignition switch "OFF".




2. Connect "CONSULT-II" and "CONSULT-II CONVERTER" to the data link connector.




3. Turn ignition switch "ON".
4. Touch "START".




5. Touch "BCM" on "SELECT SYSTEM" screen.




6. Touch "DOOR LOCK" on "SELECT TEST ITEM" screen.




7. Select diagnosis mode. "DATA MONITOR", "ACTIVE TEST" and "WORK SUPPORT" are available.
