Fuel Requirements

Coupe Models

Use premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 91 AKI (Anti-Knock Index) number (research octane number 96).

If premium unleaded gasoline is not available, regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87 AKI (research octane number 91) can be used under the following conditions:

- Fill partially with regular unleaded and fill it up later with premium unleaded gas.
- Avoid full throttle driving and abrupt acceleration.


Sedan Models

Use regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87 AKI (Anti-Knock Index) number (research octane number 91).

However, for maximum vehicle performance, the use of premium unleaded gasoline 91 AKI (Research octane number 96) is recommended.

CAUTION: Do not use leaded gasoline. Using leaded gasoline will damage the three way catalyst. Using a fuel other than that specified could adversely affect the emission control devices and systems, and could also affect the warranty coverage validity.
