IF YOU CONFIRM
There is a rattle from the rear parcel shelf when playing music with:
- High bass (especially rap music)
And / or
- Volume setting of 15 or higher
And
- The rattle can be stopped by applying upward hand pressure to the trunk upper finisher.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Open trunk.
2. Remove the seven (7) mounting clips as shown in Figure 1.
- This is so the upper rear trunk finisher which covers the speakers can be pivoted (dropped) down as shown in Figure 1.
- Refer in the El section in the Service Manual.
3. Using 2 adhesive strips per pad from the felt kit, part number 84942-AL60A, install the 3 felt pads as shown in Figure 2.
4. Take the eleven (11) pieces of the felt cloth tape and cut them in 1/2 lengthwise. Use the non-woven felt cloth tape part number 68370-4B000 for these pieces.
5. Install the felt cloth tape you just cut around both sides and back of the seven (7) mounting clip holes shown in Figure 3.
6. Pivot the upper trunk finisher back up to its original position and reinstall the seven (7) mounting clips.
7. Check to make sure the rattle is gone.sure the rattle is gone.
