This bulletin has been amended to update the Service Procedure. Please discard all previous copies.

IF YOU CONFIRM

A squeak or creak noise from the rear seat area, while driving the vehicle over speed bumps, steep driveway entrances, or similar road conditions.

DETERMINE IF

There is a loose bolt(s) holding the Rear Seatback Support Brace, which is located behind the rear seatbacks.

ACTION:





1. Remove indicated bolts from rear seat back support brace. (see Figure 1)

2. Apply Permatex 271(TM) High Strength Threadlocker Red to all bolt threads.

3. Reinstall all bolts. Torque to: 13.55-17.62 N.m, (1.38-1.79 kg-m, 10-13-ft lb.)

4. Test drive the vehicle to confirm the noise is gone.
