Camshaft Bearing Cap





Tighten camshaft bracket bolts in the following steps, in numerical order as shown in the figure.
Tighten No. 7 to 10 in numerical order as shown.
Torque 1.96 Nm (0.2 kg-m, 17 inch lbs.)
Tighten No. 1 to 6 in numerical order as shown.
Torque 1.96 Nm (0.2 kg-m, 17 inch lbs.)
Tighten No. 1 to 10 in numerical order as shown.
Torque 5.88 Nm (0.6 kg-m, 52 inch lbs.)
Tighten No. 1 to 6 in numerical order as shown.
Torque 9.02 - 11.8 Nm (0.92 - 1.20 kg-m, 80 - 104 inch lbs.)
Tighten No. 7 to 10 in numerical order as shown.
Torque 8.3 - 10.3 Nm (0.85 - 1.0 kg-m, 74 - 91 inch lbs.)

CAUTION: After tightening mounting bolts of camshaft brackets (No. 1), be sure to wipe off excessive liquid gasket from the parts list below.
