IF YOU CONFIRM:

The Automatic Transmission 2 - 3 up-shift is more pronounced when:

^ The transmission is cold (first few minutes after a cold start)

and

^ The ambient temperature is below 40°F (4.5°C)

and

^ The shift selector is in "D" (Drive),

ACTIONS:

Step A: Confirm this bulletin applies:

^ Check the Current TCM Part Number (Refer to service procedure).

^ Compare your Current TCM Part Number to Chart A.

If that part number does not match on in chart A, this bulletin does not apply. Go back to ASIST for further diagnostic and repair information.

Step B: Use CONSULT-II to reprogram the TCM. (Refer to service procedure)
