Cylinder head bolts





Whenever the size difference between (C) and (B) exceeds the limit, replace them with new one

A : Measurement point
e : 48 mm (1.89 in)
d : 11 mm (0.43 in)

Limit (C - B) 0.18 mm (0.0071 in)





Tighten all bolts 105 Nm (11 kg-m, 77 ft-lb)
In reverse order
Loosen all bolts 0 Nm (0 kg-m, 0 ft-lb)
Tighten all bolts 40.0 Nm (4.1 kg-m, 30 ft-lb
Turn all bolts 95 degrees
Turn all bolts 95 degrees again

Cylinder head distortion

Limit 0.1 mm (0.004 in)

Camshaft bracket

Tighten No. 7 to 10 1.96 Nm (0.2 kg-m, 1 ft-lb)
Tighten No. 1 to 6 1.96 Nm (0.2 kg-m, 1 ft-lb)
Tighten No. 1 to 10 5.88 Nm (0.6 kg-m, 4 ft-lb)
Tighten No. 1 to 10 10.4 Nm (1.1 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)
