APPLIED DATE: Built before July 3, 2011
IF YOU CONFIRM:
^ The MIL is on and has one or more of the following paired injector DTCs:
> "P0201 and P0206" or "P0202 and P0203" or "P0204 and P0207" or "P0205 and P0208".
^ That the vehicle has a lack of power and accelerates slowly.
^ Engine is rough, or sputters.
^ Will not go over 30-40mph.
ACTIONS:
^ Replace Engine Room Harness with parts listed.
^ Replace ECM* and register vehicle VIN.
^ Do not replace injectors.
^ Check for ECM updates and reprogram to latest part number if available.
*Use Infiniti parts system to order correct ECM.
NOTE:
Refer to Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for procedure to perform "Additional Service When Replacing ECM".

NOTE:
Reference the appropriate ESM for additional information and illustrations as needed.
HARNESS REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
Write down all radio station presets.
1. Check for DTC's.
2. Remove engine cover.
3. Remove air duct (inlet).
4. Remove air cleaner cover assembly.
5. Remove latch cover of hood.
6. Remove wiper arms.
7. Remove cowl top cover.
8. Cover the lower end of windshield with urethane etc to prevent damage to windshield.
9. Disconnect and remove battery.
10. Remove engine splash shield.
11. Remove fender protector.
12. Remove bumper fascia assembly with front fog lamps.
13. Remove IPDM E/R.
14. Remove BRACKET-BATTERY (Plastic).
15. Remove BRACKET-BATTERY (Steel) with MODULE ASSY-VEL CONTROL.
16. Remove reservoir tank.
17. Remove fuse block with bracket (right side of engine room).
18. Remove washer tank.
19. Remove the front wiper drive assembly with front wiper motor.
20. Remove the clip of the EGI-harness near the cowl top.
21. Recover A/C refrigerant.
22. Remove evaporator pipe assembly from evaporator.
23. Remove vacuum hose from brake booster.
24. Drain brake fluid.
25. Remove the master cylinder assembly from brake booster.
26. Remove ABS actuator.
27. Disconnect ABS brake lines from connector side.
28. Remove KICKING PLATE (LH).
29. Remove DASH SIDE FINISHER (LH).
30. Remove INSTRUMENT SIDE FINISHER (LH).
31. Remove INSTRUMENT LOWER PANEL (LH).
32. Remove parking brake pedal.
33. Remove brake booster.
34. Remove Engine Room Harness.
ECM REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
35. Remove KICKING PLATE (RH).
36. Remove DASH SIDE FINISHER (RH).
37. Remove INSTRUMENT SIDE FINISHER (RH).
38. Remove glove box assembly.
39. Remove INSTRUMENT LOWER PANEL (RH).
40. Remove ECM cover and disconnect ECM harness connectors.
41. Remove ECM.
42. Reassemble the vehicle in reverse order of removal.
43. Check for ECM updates and reprogram to latest part number if available.
^ Refer to ESM section and perform "Additional Service When Replacing ECM".
^ Bleed Brake System. Refer to ESM for correct procedure.
^ Charge the air conditioning refrigerant.
^ Reprogram customer's radio station presets.
^ Test drive the vehicle and confirm that all systems operate correctly and that no DTC's are present.
