AFFECTED VEHICLES

1991 Stylus (JS) Federal models equipped with 1.6L SOHC engine.

SERVICE INFORMATION

On some affected vehicles, the engine may be hard to start under cold ambient temperatures of 320 F or below. This condition can be eliminated by installing a new, improved Electronic Control Module (ECM) listed in the "Parts Infonnation" section of this Service Bulletin.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace the ECM as described in the appropriate Workshop Manaul, using the appropriate ECM listed in the "Parts Information" section of this Service Bulletin.
