Monitoring Procedure
With the ignition on, the drive to the main fuel pump relay is examined. If the state of the drive is not as expected, then a main fuel relay failure judgement is made. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored if failure is detected on two successive ignition cycles.
