Sunroof / Moonroof: Adjustments

SLIDING ROOF PANEL PROFILE, ADJUST:

- Remove sliding roof trim panel for access.
- Close sliding roof panel.
- Slacken sliding roof panel to frame assembly securing screws. Bias panel towards front of aperture without squashing panel seal.
- Adjust panel in aperture approx. 0.5 mm below roof contour at front and 0.5 mm above at rear.
- Tighten outer four panel fixing screws maintaining panel setting.
- Open and close panel.
- Slacken outer four panel fixing screws slightly in order to adjust panel setting using hand pressure.
- After final panel adjustment tighten fixing screws securely.
- Open sliding roof panel and refit trim panel.

SLIDING ROOF PANEL PROFILE ZERO POSITION, ADJUST:

- Remove sliding roof trim panel for access.
- Close sliding roof panel.
- Dimension for the gap between the driven lever and guide rail step is 8 mm.
- Remove roof console for access.
- Displace righthand sun visor from support block and reposition to cantrail.
- Undo and remove sun visor block fixing screw and remove support block
- Disconnect multi-plugs from SRCM and carefully lower front edge of of headlining for access to SRCM retaining tang.

NOTE: To avoid any possibility of damage, the headlining must only be lowered the minimum amount to allow access. Lowering too far may permanently crease headlining or cause other damage.

- Press retaining tang to release and remove module from the sliding roof frame.
- Adjust driven lever position to 8 mm between lever and guide rail step by manually operating the motor using a drive key or screwdriver.
- After the previous operation, align notches of each of the nylon gear wheels centrally to the module window.
- Refit all remaining components in the reverse order of removal procedure.
