Windows and Glass: Locations

Closure Switches:

Fig. 1 shows all closure switches located inside the vehicles interior.
The momentary action trunk release inhibit (valet) switch, fitted inside the centre cubby box by fixing screws, inhibits the use of the trunk release switch located on the left-hand side fascia switch pack assembly.
Apart for the switch dolly, the trunk release switch is not renewable.
The front and rear door switch assemblies, are to be renewed by disconnecting the battery, by removing the switch assembly end trims, the coin boxes (where fitted) and the veneer panels secured using single retaining screws.
The switches for operating the universal garage door opener module (UGDO) and the sun roof are fitted to roof console assembly held in position by two clips located at the windscreen end of the assembly and by a 1/4 turn fastener which can be seen on opening the sunglasses holder.
Prior to removing any component ensure that electrical power to the roof console assembly is isolated.
