TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR FAULT - P0706

Function:
Gear selection identification.

Possible Causes:
Faulty harness wiring or connection from pressure switch manifold.
Faulty operation of pressure switch manifold.

Effects:
Incorrect gear selections, i.e. D2 and D3 not selectable.
MIL illuminated.

Remedy:
Repair or renew harness / connectors.
Renew manifold.
