INPUT SPEED SENSOR
RANGE/PERFORMANCE/MALFUNCTION - P0715 / P0716

Function:
Received speed monitoring.

Data:
Sensor resistance = between 1k ohms and 2k ohms.

Possible Causes:
Faulty sensor.
Faulty harness wiring / connectors.

NOTE: P0716 indicates an intermittent fault.

Effects:
MIL illuminated.
Harsh gearshifts, no torque converter clutch control.
No fourth drive gear (Fault Code P0716 only).

Remedy:
Renew sensor.
Repair or renew harness / connectors.
