OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR - P0720/P0721Function:
Delivered speed monitoring.
Data:
Sensor resistance between 1K ohms and 2k ohms.
Possible Causes:
Faulty sensor.
Faulty harness wiring / connectors.
NOTE: P0721 indicates an intermittent fault.
Effects:
MIL illuminated.
Second gear selected permanently i.e. "Limp Home" mode.
Remedy:
Renew sensor.
Repair or renew harness / connectors.
