INCORRECT GEAR RATIO - P0730

Function:
Transmission internal function monitoring.

Possible Causes:
Faulty shift solenoid (Could also cause fault codes 0751/0756 to register).
Sediment in fluid.
Low transmission fluid level.
Mechanical failure.

Effects:
MIL illuminated.
Harsh gearshifts.

Remedy:
Renew faulty shift solenoid.
Remove valve body and solenoids, clean items and surrounding area and refit.
Refill fluid to correct level.
