SOLENOID VALVES A AND BPERFORMANCE/ELECTRICAL - P0751/P0753 AND P0756/P0758
Function:
Valve operation monitoring.
Possible Causes:
Faulty valve.
Faulty harness wiring/connectors.
Blown fuse.
Sediment in fluid.
Effects:
MIL illuminated.
Second gear selected permanently i.e. "Limp Home" mode.
Remedy:
Renew faulty valve.
Repair or renew harness/connectors.
Renew fuse F14 in LH heel board fuse-box on determining reason for rupture.
Remove valve body and solenoids, clean items and surrounding areas, refit and renew fluid.
