A9: Check Harness Continuity Coil to Control Module

NOTE: The recorded DTC will indicate which cylinder(s).







With the coil connectors PI018, PI019, PI020, PI021, PI022, PI023, PI024, PI025, EM027 and EM029 disconnected, measure the resistance, as required, between:

PI018/002 and EM027/008
PI021/002 and EM027/011
PI023/002 and EM027/007
PI024/002 and EM027/012
PI019/002 and EM029/011
PI020/002 and EM029/007
PI022/002 and EM029/008
PI0251002 and EM029/012

- Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?
Yes
GO to A10 A10: Check Harness Continuity ECM to Control Module
No
Inspect connectors PI018, PI019, PI020, PI021, PI022, PI023, PI024, PI025, PI001 and EM027 for bent/pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness. Test the system for normal operation.
